Cresswell dropped, three summer signings on the bench – Confirmed Leeds Starting XI v Watford

Leeds United have confirmed their starting XI for their Premier League clash against Watford in the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa has made one change from the side that lost to West Ham last Saturday.

Illan Meslier continues in goal after a fine start to the season.

One change for #LUFC today, as Diego Llorente returns from injury

In front of him, the back four consists of Jamie Shackleton, Diego Llorente, Liam Cooper, and Junior Firpo. Charlie Cresswell drops to the bench.

Kalvin Phillips is shielding the back four, and in front of him is Mateusz Klich and Stuart Dallas.

Dan James is on the left, and Raphinha takes his place on the right with Rodrigo upfront.

Jack Harrison, who made his loan move from Manchester City permanent in the summer, begins the game on the bench, alongside fellow summer recruits Leo Fuhr Hjelde and Kristoffer Klaesson.

A couple of changes.

The Whites need a win before the international break, and this is arguably close to the strongest side they can select.

The bench is also looking a lot better with Jack Harrison, Pascal Struijk, Luke Ayling joining the likes of Tyler Roberts and Joe Gelhardt..

So there are options if Bielsa needs them and the game is slipping away.

However, we believe that this Leeds side will have more than enough to seal the club’s first league win of the season.

There are plenty of goals in this side, and with Llorente in defence, the backline should be a lot more solid as well, which will be crucial against the likes of Ismaila Sarr.

We can’t wait for this match to get going and can see Bielsa’s side rattling in a few goals to kickstart their season and move them out of the relegation zone.
