Leeds United have confirmed their starting XI for their Premier League opening showdown against Wolves at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon (August 6).
Jesse Marsch has welcomed numerous new signings this summer, and some will get their official debuts with four new signings all starting.
Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Whites have started Rasmus Kristensen, Tyler Adams, Marc Rcoa and Brenden Aaronson.
With all of the injuries and suspensions we are currently dealing with, this side has likely picked itself.
Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville will all be ready to leave their mark on the side after all signing new long-term contracts in midweek.
Having the experience of someone such as Mateusz Klich to come off the bench will also help as we look to get our season off to a bang.
Here We Go.
The new season is finally here.
Leeds know what they must do after the huge struggle of last season, and that is getting off to a much better start this time around, picking up that first win sooner.
We were made to wait until October last season, and that is nowhere good enough and leaves you chasing points only two months into the campaign.
That eventually caught up with Marcelo Bielsa after years of success, and Marsch will know that he doesn’t have the luxury of cult-hero status yet, but he will be aiming for that after keeping us up.
This is the American’s first full season in charge of the club, and he will be hoping that his new signings and some familiar faces can get the business done for him.
We’re only one hour away from the 2022-23 season, let’s get Elland Road rocking once again.
