Leeds United defender Cody Drameh is set to travel out of West Yorkshire this evening to complete his loan switch to Cardiff.
That’s according to Graham Smyth, who reports that the move will likely be announced on Wednesday (12 January).
The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist has shared that Drameh was granted the move after talks with his agent and Victor Orta.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Smyth shared the latest on the deal with it set to go through in the next 24 hours.
“As Fabrizio Romano reported first, Leeds United have agreed to let Cody Drameh go on loan to Cardiff City until the summer following conversations between his agent and Victor Orta.
“Travelling tonight, expected to complete the move tomorrow.”
It looks as though Leeds will be letting the defender leave with a slight feeling of reluctance in their decision.
Drameh has pushed to go out on loan and get regular football, and it looks as though no one can really argue against that.
It shows that one of our young stars wants to build his experience and get a better chance of cementing his spot at Elland Road next season.
There have been chances off the bench under Marcelo Bielsa, but it looks as though Luke Ayling would need to get another injury for that to be more regular.
Stuart Dallas can also cover that space, so let’s not hope for any more injuries than we already have in the camp right now.
