Leeds make direct contact for major new midfield transfer, agent hopes for answer ‘very soon’

Leeds United have made direct contact with RB Salzburg over a potential move for Mo Camara, according to LUFC FANZONE.

The agent of the midfielder confirmed that the Whites have only demonstrated their interest without making an offer, although an answer could come “very soon.”

The independent platform has over 60,000 followers on social media and is even followed by the likes of Mateusz Klich, Stuart Dallas and Luke Ayling on Instagram.

Writing on their official Twitter account, LUFC FANZONE have shared what has been said regarding another potential raid on the Austrian champions.

“Speaking exclusively with LUFCFANZONE, Mo Camara’s agent has told us: ‘Leeds have been in direct contact with RB Salzburg and like the player’s profile’.

“They have only demonstrated their interest and have not yet made an offer – we hope to have an answer very soon.”

Get it done.

Leeds are certainly not messing around this summer, and it looks as though RB Salzburg are feeling the full force of that after yet again becoming Austrian champions.

With Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen already secured, it looks as though it could become a hattrick with Camara another face who could make the switch.

The relationship that Victor Orta built by leaving Aaronson alone back in January is clearly coming to fruit, with the respect between Leeds and Salzburg helping massively.

Question marks hang over the head of Kalvin Phillips still, and even with Marc Roca being confirmed, it would be smart to bring in another midfield option before the Yorkshire Pirlo potentially leaves.

Even if he then proceeds to stay at Elland Road, the Whites will have three world-class options available on top of the likes of Adam Forshaw, Lewis Bate and Mateusz Klich who would provide great depth.

Camara’s agent is hoping for answers “very soon” so it will be interesting to see how this one develops,
