Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Mohamed Camara is dropping various hints that he is keen on a move to Leeds United.
With Leeds probably needing to sign another midfielder this summer to replace Kalvin Phillips, eyes instantly fixed towards Red Bull Salzburg’s main man in the middle – Mo Camara.
The Mali international presents a great option for the club to move for, given the links to Jesse Marsch and what Leeds would need in a double-pivot, should Phillips go.
While there are no concrete reports of an offer made from Elland Road, Camara himself has been dropping not-so-subtle hints to fans that he would be happy to move to Leeds, with fans sharing their interactions with the midfielder on social media:
Must not get excited.
We’ve seen before from Rodrigo De Paul and Matheus Cunha that these social media interactions can mean very little.
So, that’s why we shouldn’t be taking this as a sign that he’s definitely joining, because that’s not the case.
What it does show us is that he would be happy to join, should the clubs agree on a fee, if Leeds are wanting to sign him.
That said, we’re unlikely to move for him right now because no one has even bid for Phillips yet.
