Sky Sports pundit: ‘Livid’ Leeds star ‘Loses His Mind’ with teammate after what he did v Norwich

  • by

Mateusz Klich was “absolutely livid” with Daniel James as Leeds United won 2-1 against Norwich at Elland Road on Sunday.

In the second half, Leeds failed to double their advantage and make things more comfortable when James opted to have a shot at goal instead of playing in a ball to Klich.

Leeds squandered many chances throughout the 90 minutes but James’ failure to pass to Klich really annoyed the 31-year-old midfielder.

“He made the wrong decision,” said Mclean on Sky Sports News on Sunday [13 March, 03:20pm].

“Kabak tries to clear the ball and Klich nicks it off of him. It breaks to James and James is running towards the box, Klich’s to his right-hand side and James takes a touch inside and looks to bend one into the far post.

“But all he needed to do was roll it to his right-hand side and Klich would have had a better shot at goal.

“He absolutely loses his mind when James doesn’t pass the ball to him – he’s absolutely livid.

“They’re the moments in games – especially for Leeds this season – the wrong decision can cost you.”

James has scored four goals for Leeds this season in the Premier League and he was desperate to add to that tally against Norwich.

He had plenty of chances to score against the Canaries as the Whites struggled to take advantage of their opportunities in front of goal.

James should have passed the ball to Klich, easily.

Yes, you’d put your money on the Wales forward to score out of the two of them but Klich would’ve almost been one-on-one and also been shooting from a better angle.

Klich’s shown he has a knack for scoring goals but he hasn’t had many opportunities this term due to his deeper role.

But he was moved forward after Rodrigo was substituted off and thrived.

Klich would more than likely have scored or at the very least got a shot on target if James had passed him the ball so you can see why the experienced Poland international was furious with his teammate.

James should learn from that hopefully.

He can’t afford to be that greedy.
