Victor Orta was spotted crying after Leeds United scored a late winner to beat Norwich City 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.
With the Whites fighting a relegation battle, they could not afford to drop any points and feared the worst when the score was deadlocked with seconds to go.
However, Joe Gelhardt scored a late goal that sealed the three points for them.
It was undoubtedly an emotional atmosphere inside Elland Road and as seen in the image above, Orta clearly felt every bit of the victory on Sunday.
This result could be the one that secures Premier League safety for Leeds United.
It’s still a long way to go but every win matters and three points in any game is like liquid dust.
The Whites went into the game under immense pressure after Jesse Marsch lost both his games in charge.
Failure to win three in a row, especially when one of the teams was at the foot of the table, would not do the American any favours with an already tetchy Elland Road crowd.
However, they got the job done and Orta was basically every Leeds fan on the day.
He has been linked with a move to Newcastle but we hope that he stays on and helps Marsch with his rebuild as that’s not a job that the American can do by himself.
