Stan Collymore unleashes on Leeds fan in Twitter exchange, deletes original message

Stan Collymore has unleashed on a Leeds United fan on Twitter after a bizarre exchange on Monday evening.

The former player turned pundit celebrated Manchester City drawing with Crystal Palace by posting a picture of Jurgen Klopp, which has now been deleted.

After accusing Collymore of celebrating seven clubs, the former player hit back by sharing the result of the Aston Villa showdown last week.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, accompanied with an image of the recent result, Collymore unleashed yet again.

“Only one, James,” he said.

“Only one.”

Typical.

This is Collymore all over, consistently living in the past.

Usual service resumed in the Premier League over the weekend, with Villa going to West Ham and losing despite all of their so-called momentum.

That is what will stop them from going to the next level without spending the millions it will take to become consistent.

Leeds will see that and know that they still have miles to go too, but the win over Norwich was the perfect first step.

Staying in the Premier League is the only goal that matters right now, and picking up more points against Wolves on Friday would certainly help.

Jesse Marsch didn’t even have a full two weeks with the squad before taking on Villa, so that didn’t count for much, although it was shocking viewing.

Thankfully, he is slowly getting his methods across and the return of Patrick Bamford helped over the weekend – hopefully, things can only start looking up for everyone at the club.

Let Collymore and Villa live in the past, it means nothing.
