Emmerdale Debbie Dingle actor Charley Webb speaks of ‘horrendous chaos’ as family home flooded

Emmerdale actress Charley Webb has taken to social media to share a little mishap that happened this weekend.

The mum-of-three who plays Debbie Dingle is a regular social media user and is known for sharing behind-the-scenes snippets of her “chaotic” life with three boys.

And this weekend was no different.

Charley, 33, described the “horrendous chaos” on a hilarious Instagram story in which she explained her youngest son Ace had been washed his hands after using the downstairs toilet and she hadn’t realised he had not turned off the tap.

The soap star was met with scenes of carnage when she realised the two-year-old had left the water running, causing a flood in the family home.

Talking to the camera on Sunday, November 14, Charley told her 519,000 followers: “So absolute disaster today. I was doing the washing and Ace completely flooded the downstairs.

“So the downstairs bathroom he was washing his hands, put the plug down on the sink and just left the water running. Obviously I was completely unaware that he had done that.

“I knew he was washing his hands but I thought he’d turned the tap off.”

She added: “I came out to what I can only describe as horrendous chaos.”

Charley has three children with her co-star husband Matthew Wolfenden – Ace, two, Bowie, five and Buster, 11.

Matthew plays David Metcalfe in the ITV soap. The pair who met on set married in 2018 in a secret ceremony which they told family and friends was a celebration for Charley’s 30th birthday.

In a recent Instagram post, Charley reminisced over her special day, posting: “We’ve been looking at our wedding pictures today.

“I still love that no one knew and they all just thought it was my 30th birthday party.

“It was the best ever and I really want to wear this dress again.”
