A man has tragically died after crashing a lorry he was driving on the M62 near Leeds.
The HGV driver crased his vehicle around 9.12am on Friday, November 19, after losing control of the lorry and ploughing into the hard shoulder.
He was later declared dead after reportedly being rushed to hospital.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision on the M62 eastbound just before junction 32 on Friday, November 19.
“Officers were called at 9.12am to reports that an HGV had collided with the hard shoulder barrier.
“The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was later declared deceased. He has yet to be formally identified.

“No other vehicles were involved in this incident.”
The crash caused several hours of delays on the carriageway, with a heavy emergency services presence at the scene of the collision.
Police are now keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash.

The spokesman said: “Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or anyone with dashcam footage.
